Ha- how known was the reference? I know QR was big for a couple years but not many people in my circle (or any circle I would think) would know the name of the guitarist.
If you are asking your husband why he's bald I'm not sure that answer will work. Though you do seem to have a strong child-like curiosity (no I'm not saying childish...that would be me), so perhaps it will work!
Kids are so awesome because they have no filters (or less of them). I remember meeting my friend Morris' 4-year-old daughter a few years ago and the first thing she said was, "What happened to your hair?" Actually I think she aimed the question at Morris, like, "What happened to that man's hair?" And after I told her, she said -- again to her father -- "I want you to pay attention to me, not him!" Which I am hoping will lead to her being strong and forthright in her adult years, knowing what she wants and asking for it if she can't get it herself.

Growing up, there was a kid on my block that looked like Carlos Cavazo. We never missed a chance to remind him.

Oh, we would just say he looked like the QR guitarist, or when their videos would play, say something like “what’s it like to film a video?’
