As a 12 yr old, I thought the Owner of a Lonely Heart video was quite impressive. Now... oh boy.

There’s a couple of different videos for that song. Both are pretty awful but the worst one is the one where they’re all just standing in place and Jon Anderson looks like he’s being forced at gunpoint to sing and dance. A lot of videos were pretty horrible back then especially considering where the green screen technology was in the early 80s.

Thanks for this week’s ear worm 🐛 “owner of a lonely heart” - she says sarcastically.

Sophie looks so innocent but I can already see the cheekiness behind those cute eyes! I have a soft spot for German Shepherds (and I usually joke a marry one) (Stephan is originally German :)). Stella was beautiful. What breed was her? Very sweet picture (I love her pose!).

We are the "uncles" (or "guncles", rather :)) of a very sweet Cavalier King Charles and we look after her when her owners, our friends and neighbours, are away. She's not a puppy anymore, and behaves like a queen in many respects (to the amusement of the guncles, of course), but she is also obsessed with the ground and anything edible that she may find. Must be a universal dog code, regardless of breed, age and temperament!

Hi Andres, Stella was a shepherd mix. We didn't have DNA testing done on her, but I would bet she was a blend of several tasty spices! Love that you "guncles" get to be temporary parents to the pups! Cavalier KCS's can be very stubborn -- my neighbor has one, but she's really mellowed out as she's aged and now is friendly with my giant 85lb pitbull mix!

That’s so sweet! 😊

Fun read and a good reminder. I often say that if the ground was a certain white powder, my dog would look at Stevie Nicks and say, “Amateur.”

I take it the white powder would be powdered sugar or dried Twinkie filling. It’s walking the little dogs that is the toughest as their faces are a foot off the ground before sniffing!;) Thanks for reading!
