Lately the 2am - Dan Carey Dub by Foals has been stuck in my head. It vibes like it could have been on the "Drive" soundtrack. (Not sure how it was up the coast, but L.A. seemed obsessed with that soundtrack.) After reading about your love for wicked beats in your 4/20 post, I'm thinking you might dig it.
I ran across this song from the Norwegian band Plumbo and even though I have no idea what they're singing about, it's just catchy as hell. It's one of those songs where if local radio playlists were as open as they were in the 70s and 80s, this could this decade's "99 Luft Balloons."
Oh the day of individual preference in local radio playlists....I think that’s a relic from another time. Yeah- this song has an 80s feel, maybe a little Big Country. Very anthemic. I can see it appearing on Eurovision.
