Oh man I used to love those SNL skits! I still remember seeing the trailer for Night at the Roxbury, and laughing out loud when one of the guys hit their head and shattered the car window doing the head dance.

The best counter to a pernicious ear worm is another equally as annoying one

Yes -- this method was detailed in methods 2 and 3. But really it’s #3 that is the most effective.

Otherwise you are simply exchanging one earworm for another.

That same record has a cover of "Tell Me Where it Hurts," which was previously sung by...Milli Vanilli.

Well, you know, you could try playing the video 5x in a row to see if it "earadicates" it. Can't promise it'll "eyeradicate" it though! 😀

Which reminds me, Amy, of how I used to love to butcher the lyrics of INXS's "Need You Tonight," elevating the act of sweating to a voluntary action:

"I need you tonight

'Cause I'm not sleepin'

There's somethin' about you, girl

That makes me--want to--sweat."😁

As one who basically tolerated most lyrics (preferring to really focus on the music and sonic dynamics), I had such fun butchering the "worses" of verses!

You mean those aren't the lyrics???? I feel a mashup in the works. INXS Music Factory. You take over on the puns, Brad.
