Truly hilarious, Steve. I laughed hard because I so saw myself so many times. So many parts I loved, but for some reason, the hitting the timer, forgetting to hit "start" and burning the cookies, countered with the compensating the next time with writing a note (I'd have written it on my calendar!) to remind me to start it, coupled with the neuroses of staring at it to ding even after I DO start it! OCD? OMG!
I love your understated delivery. In less skilled hands, your emotional wrenchings would be far less impactful, and would knock the mirrors out of our hands. I think we've both, Boobie, not seen the same therapist! A couple of these:👏👏👏👏
You had me at "unbleached sadness," my friend. LOL
This was hilarious!! Still laughing :)
There’s no Scotch in this recipe. Needs a good Speyside or Islay. Your quantities may vary....
I knew something was missing! At the very least it could have been used to drink while assembling the ingredients.

haha! YUM.
So many people would say the added ingredient is love, when we all know it's stress and ruminations. 😂
Exactly! Salty tears are the hidden ingredient in the most delicious of holiday desserts.
So love this! Just in time for the holidaze!
