Charles, I keep track of new releases all year long, and as I play them, I add a star to the ones that really stand out to me. Then, as the year end nears, I go through those starred songs and listen to them a few more times. It’s more involved than that but this method helps me keep up with everything that’s come out throughout the year, while at the same time, narrowing it down some.
Quite an undertaking, Steve! Quite impressive! I like a handful of vids, but was particularly impressed by Lizzo's. She's more than just her image, it's nice to hear! Plus, the video was well-staged, and the song was disco-retro and melodic! On a side note, that book the young man is reading..."I Love U Bitch"? I'm on the third chapter, and eagerly await the movie!
