Wow, cool story. I’ve also been reaching back into my old blogs for content occasionally, but those posts were generally terrible and have had to be completely reworked. But I love seeing the evolution of my writing skill.

It’s weird to think about how much time I used to spend commuting. I mean, technically my commute has never been terrible, but still. Anything I did in the office I can do from home.

Here’s a 5-min video from a Seattle musician about busking at the Pike Place Market: https://youtu.be/It_g2BVNFjU

Not a busker, but this reminded me that I accidentally came across the best ever version I've heard of my favourite Nirvana song, 'Come as You Are', being played by a group entertaining (for free) a lunchtime crowd in Sydney's CBD. Their female singer nailed the chorus better than Kurt! If I'd only thought to get the band's name I think I'd still include it on my 'all-time best covers' list today.

That's especially impressive considering how many Nirvana covers are out there. So many that I don't even bother checking them out anymore. I think there's something about seeing it "live" and unexpectedly that often gives it the added resonance.

Great story, Steve. Hope that finger heals for you quickly!
