Some great tracks here Steve! Loving some of the live performances, great idea!

Thanks for the mention Steve! Ok, more: The hundreds of versions of "House of Blue Lights". Led Zeppelin "Houses of the Holy"--which was not on the album of the same name. And since you bent the rules to allow songs with "home" in the title, let's bend it more for "Love Shack"!

I did think about "Houses of the Holy." But was trying to keep it to songs other folks suggested. It's funny that it's not on the album of the same title. And "Love Shack" totally counts! My rule was any kind of dwelling, and a shack, even if it's just a place where "we can get together" fits the criteria.

That's a fantastic playlist.

(I'll add "House Of Hope" by Toni Childs -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xoV_n9u_sfk )

I had the hugest crush on Toni Childs. She went through terrible health issues for years but is still making art.

Thanks, Nick. I know Tony Childs, but I don’t know this song. So thanks for sharing and suggesting it.

Thanks. I hadn't thought about her in years and then, a couple of months ago I was reminded of one of her songs, and she's got some really strong recordings.

I just realized I didn’t include “Housequake” by Prince. One of my all-time favorites.

The House of Blue Lights, by Chuck Miller, an early rockabilly-influenced rocker from the mid-50s.
